Persian Abadeh This carpet is hand-made by Ghaschghai nomads and the Bachtiar people in the south of Iran in the area of Abadeh between Shiraz and Isfahan. These typical Shiraz and Ghaschghai patterns were started here in the 1920's. The carpet is deep red with stylised flower, leaf, bird and animal as well as geometrical patterns.
